Still having memory errors with Elasticsearch server. Might just abandon the Heroku add-ons and use AWS. What a headache. I'd prefer not abandoning Elasticsearch since I can run it locally, but if these intermittent errors can't be resolved it might be best to use something like Algolia.

Yep. Done deal. Switching to AWS Elasticsearch, and if that doesn't fix these errors, off to Algolia we go.
Added dark mode toggling and avatar uploads. Not sure I like the forced light/dark switch. Would be nice to have an option to revert to OS preference without having to delete the theme entry from local storage.

My git discipline for this project has been really poor. Commit after commit with the message "Update" and nothing else. I guess I'm just too eager to actually push out the change to care.
